Aamir Khan's reaction to AIB Roast deserves Claps or Slaps?

Though the AIB Roast controversy has found many supporters in Bollywood as well as the audience, there are many who have found it vulgur and crass. Joining the list of detractors is our B-town's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

Aamir, who attended a press interaction recently, was quizzed about the AIB Knock out video and his reaction to it. While Khan revealed that he hasn't seen the video, he was still aware of few things spoken about at the event, as Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor had shared with him, when they had met, just after the show.

"After the Roast, I happened to be at a place where Karan and Arjun were also present. They told me about how they did this Roast and all the dialogues that were exchanged at the event. I was deeply affected by that and disappointed in what I was hearing," the actor was quoted saying in a report, adding further, "I scolded both Karan and Arjun and told them that I didn't find it funny at all. You can't give 25 gaalis and think that people will like it. I am not a 14-year-old that I will be impressed by gaalis.”

Khan was further quoted saying, “If you want to impress me, try making me laugh without insulting anyone. I will enjoy it then. I am not talking about AIB, but about Arjun, Karan and other actors at the event...I think as a creative person, it is my responsibility to search for the good in people. When you insult someone, you are perpetuating violence and projecting it to the world. I don't like that. But I am sure that a lot of young people did like it."

Interestingly, Aamir's reaction comes as a surprise as he had defended the use of expletives in 'Delhi Belly', a film produced by him. However, Aamir begs to differ on that point and was heard saying that when he ventured into such a film, he categorically informed people that it was meant for adults only. He stressed on the fact that as a creative person, he also shoulders responsibilities towards the people at large.

Well, now Aamir's reaction has confused us, so it is better you guys decide whether we should applaud him for his stand or condemn him for his apparent hypocrisy!
