Make Hay While the Sun Shines†is what we always say and even prefer. Surely, there are some actors who haven't heard of this. Presenting to you a list of those prestigious actors who made a grand debut, something everyone dreams of and very few achieve. But sadly, there has not been any other achievement in their career graph ever since that big debut vehicle.
1. Himansh Kohli:
Neither did the lead actor Himansh, nor his movie 'Yaariyan' succeeded in making a connection with the audience despite great promotions and chart-topping songs. His performance was termed as a highly immature one.
2. Armaan Jain:
Raj Kapoor's grandson was in the news and was being blessed by all the B-town biggies and his Kapoor cousins and relatives. But ever since the release of 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' we wonder where he disappeared (P.S: Thank God he did).
3. Sneha Ullal:
“Aye look! Aishwarya Rai…..no wait! She is……oh that girl who made her not-so-lucky debut with Salman Khan in 'Lucky-no time for love'.â€
4. Daisy Shah:
Oh and when it comes to making debuts with Salman Khan and then getting infamous, Daisy Shah is another actress for whom the much-awaited 'Jai Ho' proved to be a disaster.
5. Zarine Khan:
*Salman Khan grins* Another actress who made a debut opposite Salman with 'Veer' and well, the last time we saw her was in an item song in 'Ready'.
6. Pooja Salvi:
People were expecting another huge hit from Ayushman Khurrana after 'Vicky Donor'. Sadly, the movie 'Nautanki Sala' and the actress went unnoticed.
7. Harman Baweja:
He is the guy who made his debut in the much-anticipated sci-fi drama 'Love Story 2050'. Need we say more?
8. Uday Chopra:
He made a debut any actor could have just dreamt of- along with Amitabh Bachchan and SRK, produced by Yash-Raj Films and one of the biggest hits of the year. And then followed a list of flop films. With 'Dhoom' we thought the guy is back in action. Alas! He proved us wrong.
9. Sasha Agha:
Daughter of yesteryear actress Salma Agha, she made her debut opposite Arjun Kapoor in 'Aurangzeb' produced by YRF. She was last seen this year in a random low-budget movie 'Desi Kattey'.
She made her debut with 'Lagaan', the movie that was India's official entry to Oscars and even went on to do the cult-movie 'Munnabhai M.B.B.S', but failed to create a mark in the industry.
Let's just say that 'Gadar-Ek Prem Katha' was a blessing to her CV. Else, she would have been just known as the actress who made her debut opposite Hrithik in 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai'.
She made a successful debut with 'Pardes' opposite SRK but sadly, a long list of flops made her career graph dip down. Deep down!
She made a stunning debut in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and became an instant favorite amongst the audience. Later, a spate of flop films made her quit the world of showbiz.
*Salman Khan grins again* She made her debut in the blockbuster 'Tere Naam'. Sadly, owing to all her other flop films, she failed to create a wave in the industry.
With the very first trailer of 'Cocktail', she garnered all the attention and praise for her girl-next-door gorgeous looks. A sudden craze amongst everyone, she failed to create a mark with the release of the movie; and with Deepika's performance over-shadowing her.
Remember that guy who played Amitabh Bachchan's son in the 2005 disaster 'Dil Jo Bhi Kahey'?
With Amitabh Bachchan in the movie, people were expecting both the movie as well as the young debutant to be promising.
17.Neil Nitin Mukesh:
The most talented actor in the list, but with a long list of flops and just one hit- 'New York'. His debut film 'Johnny Gaddar' earned him a lot of praise for his choice of role and his performance. He had created a huge wave and was considered as the next big thing in Bollywood.
Well, what's done cannot be undone. We hope they get another chance to play a new innings in Bollywood. Also, we hope our current heartthrobs don't end up being another name in this list!!
