Story:Ajay (played by Akshay Kumar) is an officer who is part of an elite team chosen from amongst the best in the Forces to form a covert Counter Intelligence Unit. In the course of foiling one terrorist attack bid, Ajay discovers a major threat to the nation - a plan to cause damage and strike fear at the heart of our very existence. The plot is masterminded by a maniacal leader (Rashid Naz) whose organization has its tentacles spread across the world. As days progress, the unit goes through escalating challenges with time ticking against them and risks escalating. Covert and courageous operations are performed across Kathmandu, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Delhi and Mumbai as the team doesn't rest till evil is defeated. Whether the maniacal Maulana Rehman and his band of evil succeed in striking terror in India or are caught by Ajay and his team comprising of Anupam Kher, Taapsee Pannu and Rana Daggubatti, forms the crux of the story.

Performances: Akshay Kumar yet again bowls you over in his khiladi avatar. He is suave, brave and unbelievable in his role. He outshines in the film. Danny Denzongpa, as the ATS chief keeps you connected to the film. Anupam Kher, Rana and Taapsee are apt in their role. However, you wish to see them a bit earlier in the film. Kay Kay Menon, Sushant Singh and Rashid Naz are impressive in the negative role. You will love to hate them. Debutante Madhurima Tuli is fine as Akshay's wife.

Direction:Neeraj Pandey consecutively for the third time hits the bull's eye. If you enjoyed the thrill, twists and turns that you witnessed in 'A Wednesday' and 'Special 26', then 'Baby' is definitely a treat for you. Neeraj keeps the film crisp, sleek and fast paced.

Combo on offer:Action + Thrill = An edge of the seat movie!

Final Verdict:We give the film thunderous claps for its intriguing content, classy actors and outstanding direction. A must watch!
