It starred Emraan Hashmi, Shriya Saran and Mrinalini Sharma in lead roles. Emraan's performance was highly appreciated in this film. It was about a hit man who falls in love with a devout Muslim girl, and how she changes his outlook towards life.
5. Raaz: The Mystery Continues
This supernatural horror film deals with issues of the "evil within" the human psyche and how it manifests itself. It was the second film in the 'Raaz' series.
This film was based on the controversy regarding the allegedly racial attacks on Indian students in Australia between 2007 and 2010. It featured Emraan Hashmi and Neha Sharma in leading roles.
7. Murder 2
This psychological thriller was about a former police officer (Emraan Hashmi) who is hired by a gangster to trace a group of missing call girls and their abductor. The film was a huge hit at the box office.
8. Aashiqui 2
'Aashiqui 2' was a love story about a struggling bar singer, Arohi (Shraddha Kapoor) who meets a famous musician, Rahul (Aditya Roy Kapoor). He launches her singing career, but their relationship is doomed when people assume that he is with her for her fame and fortune. The film was a huge hit with its chartbuster songs. It was a sequel to the 1990 musical hit 'Aashiqui'.
9. Ek Villain
The film was about Guru played by Sidharth Malhotra who blurs the line between good and evil as he pursues his lover's killers. Riteish Deshmukh was seen in a negative role for the first time and was highly appreciated for it.
10. Hamari Adhuri Kahani
This upcoming film featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao is slated to hit the theatrical screens on 12th June. The film is an intense love story and is said to be loosely based on Mahesh Bhatt's parents Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his step mother.
11. Half Girlfriend
Based on Chetan Bhagat's novel, 'Half Girlfriend', this film is about a Bihari boy who falls in love with a girl from the upper class. The film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat. The cast of the film is yet to be revealed.
