Birthday Special: Bipasha Basu- The Horror Queen of Bollywood!

What is that one thing Dino Morea, John Abraham and Harman Baweja regret while Karan Singh Grover feels lucky about these days? Well, it's none other than the Birthday Girl & bong babe Bipasha Basu.

The dusky actress is considered as one of the sexiest sirens in Bollywood. She looks sizzling in a bikini and beautiful and sensuous in a saree. Bipasha is an actor who has never shied away from experimenting. She charmed us with her performances in 'Ajnabee', 'Jism', 'Corporate', 'No Entry', 'Apharan', 'Raaz ', 'Raaz 3' and 'Lamhaa'. But we fondly remember her for doing movies of the horror genre.

So let us look at the various horror movies she has done in this much-loved genre, which makes her the Horror Queen of Bollywood.

1. 'Raaz'- She got scared of the girl with whom her husband had an extra-marital affair:

Her claim to fame. This movie made Bipasha an overnight star. The movie is still considered as one of the best horror flicks of Hindi Cinema. None of the other installments of Raaz have been able to match up to the level of this one!

2. Aatma- Iss mein toh apne pati se hi darr gayi!

Bipasha Basu

A box-office dud. The movie was nothing but a headache. People were excited at the prospect of watching Bips in another horror flick.

3. Raaz 3- Scared everyone in this movie.

A huge buzz regarding Bipasha's return to the 'Raaz' installment ensured the movie to be a big hit. Her performance as the villain was appreciated by all. Though the movie lacked the frights the first Bipasha-starrer 'Raaz' gave us.

4. Alone- And now, she will be seen getting scared of herself!

Her next horror flick. The trailer looked way too promising. Her chemistry and bold scenes with co-star Karan Singh Grover have already become the talk of the town. The movie would see Bipasha fighting against her twin's spirit. Let's hope the movie would bring back the badly-missed horror genre in Bollywood.

And yes, we saw her getting scared of weird creatures in 'Creature 3D' too. We suppose aur kuch bachaa nahi hai ab for this horror queen. Wishing her a very Happy Birthday and lots of success for her upcoming movie.
