Recently, some pictures are doing rounds on the internet, which show how Bollywood auditions were conducted way back in 1950s. These pictures are believed to be clicked by Life magazine photojournalist, James Burke. They show Bollywood film director Abdul Rashid Kardar,who is known for films like Shahjehan (1946), Dillagi (1949), Dulari (1949), Dil Diya Dard Liya (1966) and others, taking a screen test of young girls- an India and a foreigner, for one of his films.
Some of these pictures are quite an eye-opener. Don't say, we didn't warn you before!
