Maintaining the humdrum of appearing at Cannes this year too were 'Slumdog Millionaire' and 'Fukrey' stars. We give you the ones that rocked and the ones who plainly sucked.
At the 'Homesman' premiere, Freida Pinto picked a crimson Oscar de la Renta mullet gown embellished with gold floral embroidery at its hemline. No offence but the red carpet is to be walked on and not to be draped on! And the hair and pumps just add to the dress woes!
We are sure Freida can do better next time.
'Saint Laurent' premier saw Freida in a plunging neck Michael Kors feathered silhouette. While we have no issues with the hair and the bold lip, the only gripe is the plainness of the look, a tad of blings wouldn't have harmed, would they?
Vishakha Singh channeled the fashionista within her at the 'Mr. Turner' premiere. The modern-day striped MapxencaRS peplum sari was a refreshment from all the regular gowns. However we are not really a big fan of the ear studs.
Vishakha's second appearance at 'The Rover' premiere consisted of a Payal Singhal cape blouse and an embellished lehenga featuring a waist cut-out. The soft up do stroke a balance with the loudness of the Curio Cottage jewelry (She was even mistaken for Salma Hayek).
P.S. Aditi Rao Hydari was seen dolled up in the same cape choli at IIFA 2014.
