Story: 'Hunterr' is a story of a sex addict Mandar Ponkshe (Gulshan Devaiah), who since his teenage days is highly attracted towards women and ends up having multiple relationships. He is busy having fun as he is in relationships with Parul (Veera Saxena), Jyotsna (Sai Tamhankar) a housewife among others. Time flies and Mandar decides to get into an arranged married and ends up meeting Trupti (Radhika Apte). Due to the fear of losing Trupti, Mandar tries to hide his past life from her and what happens next is what the entire film is all about.
Performance: Gulshan Devaiah does an impressive job as a sex addict. He is convincing as Mandar Ponkshe and adds that touch of relatability. Radhika Apte as Gulshan's fiance is nice. She gets the right amount of spunk and spice in the movie. You will love her simplicity. Veera Saxena and Sai Tamhankar are good in their roles.
Direction: Debutant director Harshvardhan Kulkarni deals with the subject of teenagers and their addiction for sex in an apt manner. He is successful in showing the hormonal changes a guy undergoes in his adolescence. However, he fails to keep the audience entertained throughout. The film is good in bits and pieces. A special mention for the director as he has managed to capture the nuances of a middle class family.
Combo-on-Offer: Sex + Comedy = An unusual Sex Comedy!
Verdict: We give the film claps for its relatable content and simple performances.
