The Lost 'Identity Card'

The Lost 'Identity Card'

Claps for: Attempting to take up a strong issue through this movie

Slaps for: Failing at that attempt

Popcorn refill: Anytime you like

Story: This story revolves around a Television reporter's journey in Kashmir, as she attempts to make a documentary but soon falls into trouble after misplacing her identity card. She is then suspected to be a terrorist. What follows is an insight into the frustrations and difficulties of the police force officials.

Performances: Tia Bajpai takes most credit for her performance in this film. Brijendra Kala and Prashaant Kumar were decent in their performance as well. Although none of the actors managed to give a breakthrough performance worth mentioning.

Direction: Rahat Kazmi failed to bring this intense story to life. The direction of this film further ruins the already loose storyline. The director did not manage to hold our attention or give out a strong message as intended.

Combo on offer: This movie offers the following combo:

An intended strong message+ Poor script and direction= Never mind

Final verdict: We give this movie slaps for injustice done to such a great subject.
