Looks like films with social vigilantes are back in fashion! Akshay Kumar's 'Gabbar Is Back' is all set to hit the silver screens on 1st May. The 'Khiladi' is back in town with a mission to be fulfilled.

1. 'Gabbar Is Back'
'Naam villain ka, kaam hero ka.' The tagline says it all. Akshay Kumar aka Gabbar plays a simple man who forms his own vigilante team to battle against corruption. Akky is armed with powerful dialogues and of-course his kicks and punches will make sure that the villains have a bad time.
2. 'Mr X'
Emraan Hashmi chose a different route. He decided to track down those baddies and seek revenge by going 'invisible'.
The film had Salman Khan mouthing, "Mere bare mein itna mat sochna..Dil mein aata hu, samajh mein nahi." He played Devi Lal Singh aka Devil, a desi Robin Hood who stole from the rich to treat poor children suffering from diseases.
4. 'Gulaab Gang'
Dressed in pink saris and armed with lathis, sickles and axes, the female gang took on corrupt government officials, abusive husbands and sleazy rapists.
5. 'Jai Ho'
Salman Khan played Jai, an ex-army officer who wages a battle against corruption and injustice. He comes up with a unique idea of propagating social responsibility among people. Remember, his golden mantra of helping three people instead of saying 'Thank You'?
Four youngsters start an 'Ungli' gang to teach the corrupt officials a moral lesson.
7. 'Mr India'
'Mogambo khush hua'. But not for very long! And the credit goes to 'Mr India'.
Amitabh Bachchan donned the 'Shahenshah' avatar to fight against the evil.
