Claps for: 1) No forest scenes.
2) Unpredictable ending.
3) Not bothering to use a fancy title to spook you (Would you ever imagine a horror movie named Pizza!).
Slaps for: 1) Scaring the hell out of us.
2) The ending after the ending.
Popcorn refill: Only if your hands are not busy covering your eyes.
Story: Finally you have a horror story that doesn't involve the usual. It's the story of a pizza delivery boy that gets trapped in a haunted house; or is it??? The movie will take you through everything you expect after watching in the trailer but suddenly takes an unexpected turn at the end. You will enjoy the sudden 90 degree dip on the roller coaster ride that you were enjoying anyway.
Performances: Akshay Oberoi's acting was convincing, although a real person would've either fainted or died of a heart attack with such happenings; but we understand his character had to stay strong for the plot to proceed. Parvathy Omanakuttan served her role well. Dipannita Sharma and Arunoday Singh fit in perfectly with their expressions whenever needed.
Direction: Hats off to Akshay Akkineni for bringing the story to life and doing complete justice to horror. He made sure our eyes were glued to the screen, even if they were almost shut out of fear at some point. Special claps for bringing a wicked smile and raising our eyebrows towards the end. He kept the story in sync and as realistic as possible.
Combo on offer: Here's what this Pizza combo offers you-
Unusual Story+ A little Back story of the ghosts+ Killer sound effects+ Unpredictable twist +Predictable end.
If none of your friends tell you what the unpredictable twist is, you can almost bet on a guessing game and none of you will win, guaranteed. Ignore the final end and you'll be fine.
Final Verdict: Claps for feeding our senses with entertaining horror through a story that took place because of a Pizza!
(Wow! Now we should totally challenge the film makers with another food item and watch what they spin around it)
