Politics of Bollywood

Politics of Bollywood

Biopics have become the current flavor of the season. From cricketer M.S. Dhoni to lawyer Shahid Azmi, film industry seems to be obsessed with paying a tribute to India’s well-known men by showing their life’s journey in mere 3 hours!

But we are sad. Why just sportsmen and actors? Why not our beloved politicians who do so much for the country? Some of them even keep our money safeguarded in Switzerland under fixed deposit schemes!

So let us have a look at those politicians of India, on whom a movie deserves to be made, along with the actors who would be apt to play the role:

1. Rahul Gandhi- Pulkit Samrat:

bollywood politics

Because they both are rightfully the “pappu” of India. While one is in politics because of his mother, the other is in Bollywood because of being a true chamcha of bhai.

2. Lalu Prasad Yadav- Ravi Kishan:

bollywood politics

Given the Bhojpuri connection and the funny charisma between the two, no one can play Lalu Prasad Yadav’s role better than Ravi!

3. Arvind Kejriwal- Anil Kapoor:

bollywood politics

From moustache to face-cut, they both look like brothers. Plus, we loved Anil as the ‘Nayak’ on the big-screen, so we wouldn’t really mind watching him play the role of the Nayak of India’s politics too!

4. Manmohan Singh- Tusshar Kapoor:

bollywood politics

Three times we loved Tusshar Kapoor- Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3. Reason- He played the mute guy. Well, so playing India’s former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh shouldn’t be much of a pain for him. *winks*

5. Mayawati- Johnny Lever (with a wig):

While the two look similar, it would also be nice to see the best comedian of our times Johnny Lever play something different and incorporate his funny side to the role too!

After watching these awesome biopics and the performances by these actors, Milkha bhi jayega Bhaag!
