'Rahasya' Trailer Looks Promising

Audience loves to get tricked into mystery story-telling and be given a shock towards the climax. Keeping this in mind, director Manish Gupta presents the movie 'Rahasya' which is loosely based on the Aarushi Talwar and Hemraj murder case which is touted to be one of the most mysterious murder cases of India.

The film is about the murder of an 18 year old girl's murder inside her own house where the prime suspect is her father but subsequently, the list of suspects grow.

In a bid to give it a filmy angle and keep the audience hooked, a few new characters seem to be added apart from the original suspects of the murder case. While the direction looks crisp and entangling, the cinematography is competent.

Coming to the actors, Kay Kay Menon as the CBI officer looks promising, as usual, with the confidence in his eyes and his CBI-Officer styled mannerisms. On the other hand, it is a treat to watch ace actor Ashish Vidyarthi back on screen in a full-fledged role after a long time. The movie also stars Mita Vasisht and Tisca Chopra but the trailer does not reveal properly as to who plays Ashish's wife.

Also, a certain scene in the movie shows Kay Kay Menon along with a fellow officer finding another body inside the house beneath the wooden floor leaving us to believe the movie too is about a double murder like the original case.

Overall, the trailer looks promising.
