Roar Movie Review: Why it will fail to Roar?

Star Cast: Abhinav Shukla, Himarsha V, Achint Kaur, Subrat Dutta, Virendra Singh Ghuman, Nora Fatehi, Ali Quli, Aaran Chaudhary, Aadil chahal, Pranay Dixit, Pulkit Jawahar

Director: Kamal Sadanah

Claps for: Ummm... Well... Nothing at all.

Slaps for: Well, how do I start? For ruining a great opportunity, for not using logic, for the crappy acting, for skin show when it was never needed , for the most poor execution I have seen in a long time and I can go on and on. Not to mention cheating audiences by showing a great trailer when the movie was actually hogwash.

Story: The movie in the plane simple manner is utterly stupid with no head or tail. I mean literally who gets a group of commandos to avenge his brother killed by a white tiger? Uday is a wildlife photographer who rescues a white tiger cub from the jungles of Sundarbans. Uday has to give the cub into the forest authorities control but is killed by the cubs infuriated mother. Punit, the cool dude with a potty face who unfortunately is also a commando in the Indian Army comes to claim his brothers body which is nowhere to be found. Mad with the situation Punit decides to avenge his brother. From whom? No prizes for guessing but yes it is the white tiger who killed Uday. The story keeps getting only funnier with Punit calling in his team of commandos to find and kill the tiger. As if a group of highly trained commandos have seriously no work left. Oh I forgot to mention one of the highly trained fine commando is actually a fragile model with ... ummmm... you only what to show. Kill the Logic - The team has a huge gathering of military grade arms and ammunitions, god only knows how. So team commando and hottie goes to attack the white tiger with a tracker and a guide. What follows up is a series of jokes when the tiger which actually is supposed to be strong actually proves to be strong. I mean like seriously?

The movie ends with a typical Bollywoodish finish when everyone but the lead actor and actress survive the wrath of the Sundarban wildlife and yeah fall in love.

Performances: What performance? Abhinav Shukla, Himarsha V, Achint Kaur are all equally bad. The rest of the team is at par if not worse.

Direction: The director could definitely not deliver on the promise of the movie or exploit a well placed opportunity. Kamal Sadanah just knows how to place hot or rather flimsily dressed women in the movie where they definitely do not belong. The rest of the movie, well trust me doesn't deserve a mention.

Combo-on-offer: A really bad film + Crappy Acting. Take our advice and miss this.

Final Verdict: We give this movie Slaps for wasting time energy and money of the producers and audiences. Not to mention the wasted opportunity of such a great movie idea.
