Salman Khan: Barjatya’s Prem Over the Years

Salman Khan: Barjatya’s Prem Over the Years
Just the way Vijay and Rahul belong Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan respectively, the name that brings Salman Khan’s image before our eyes is Prem. And despite playing Prem in nearly 14 movies so far, the three movies which are responsible for making him a favourite within every household are the ones directed by Sooraj Barjatya.

Yes, the credit for giving us the ideal son, brother and lover in Prem goes to none other than Sooraj Barjatya. And even though he did give many others like Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor and Sonu Sood to play Prem, none of them were able to win hearts the way Salman did.

And this Diwali, he is coming back, for the 15th time. So let’s have a look at what makes him so special…what makes us fall for PREM…

Silent Lover:

Salman as Prem
The young man with oodles of love boiling inside him. But when it came to expressing his love, he lets his actions speak more than his words. Much before SRK could woo the ladies of the nation as Raj, Salman fought for his love and told the world ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.

Mischievous:

Salman as Prem
‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ wouldn’t have been what it is, had it not had the mischievous Prem and his naughty antics. And why not? After all, he was the youngest in the family. But Barjatya’s Prem was more than that. He was a sacrificing brother, caring lover and a loving devar…

Shy:

Salman as Prem
Sooraj’s Prem was the typical boy every mother in the country dreamt of- shy and obedient mamma’s boy. The boy who walked down the path of righteousness, had a soft corner for the poor, fought for his elder brother’s rights and expressed his love in bits and pieces…no one could evade from the coy charm of Prem.

Family Man:

Salman as Prem
And he is back…after a gap of 15 years; as the loving and caring family man, who would bend all rules to get his family together, to make his sister happy and to give out the message that “har family mein problem hai…par woh khush naseeb hai, jinki family hoti hai

Yes, we are excited to see the combo of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya once again with ’Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which releases on 12th November.
