SRK-Salman, Jaya-Rekha, Kareena-Bipasha: 5 Controversial Hugs of Bollywood

Love is all about the good and the bad moments. We fight with ones we love the most. And while fights are a part of every relationship, the best way to finish these fights is to hug.

Well, aisa hum nahi…humare stars kehte hain in nearly every movie! So today on Hug Day, we look at the most controversial hugs of B-town that made news and supposedly ended a long-time cold war.

1. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan:

controversial hugs

Since the past two years, probably the only hug that has been the best topic for every media organization is this one. Their hugs for two consecutive years at Iftaar Parties and then their patch-up at Salman's sister Arpita's wedding became a national headline and twitter's trending topic. We saw the two biggest Khans of Bollywood letting bygones be bygones and ending their cold war.

2. Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan:

controversial hugs

That Jr.Bachchan is married to Salman's ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai, is a known fact. But it was amazing to see Salman and Abhishek overcome the usual awkwardness and hug each other at the Star Guild Awards last year. And now we wonder if Sallu has Ranbir's name written in his list too.

3. Jaya Bachchan and Rekha:

controversial hugs

It happened during the launch of a Marathi table book that the two warring actresses of the gone era decided to bury the hatchet…well at least for those 3 minutes they surely did. Rekha, who was once involved with Amitabh Bachchan had always been at a cold war with Jaya Bachchan after the two got married.

4. Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu:

controversial hugs

A war that began back in 2001 when Bipasha was making her debut in 'Ajnabee' along with Kareena Kapoor. It is said that Kareena passed racial comments on the dark-skinned newbie which hurt Bipasha. Since then, the two had not been on talking terms before the IIFA Press Conference happened where the two sexy sirens of B-town hugged, kissed and patched up.

5. Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn:

controversial hugs

A lot had been said about the two ace actors and the animosity between the two; even though the two had always maintained that neither are they friends, nor enemies. But surely, thing took a turn when SRK's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and Ajay's 'Son of Sardaar' had a bitter clash at the box office. But thanks to Ajay and SRK's closeness with director Rohit Shetty, SRK dropped in on the sets of 'Singham Returns' where the two actors hugged and remained cordial with each other thereby putting an end to their cold war.

So if these stars, and specially Salman and SRK can patch up with a hug, we are sure even you can! So go, and hug your loved ones and let them know they are special!
