Johnny Depp starrer Transcendence is a sci-fi thriller by first time director Wally Pfister. Pfister who has worked with Christopher Nolan regularly as a cinematographer brings to light the paranoia of the rapid advances in technology.
Johnny Depp plays Will, a scientist who is working on artificial intelligence with human emotions. He gets shot at by people agitating against his research and his mind is uploaded into a machine! His hunger for knowledge turns into hunger for power and all hell breaks loose.
