So 'Mary Kom' released this week without any competition at the box-office as the makers of 'Daawat-Ishq' backed out and chose to postpone the film's release to the 19th of September which clashes with Sonam Kapoor starrer 'Khoobsurat' at the box office. For the upcoming week, Bollywood offers us two films that not necessarily go up against each other, but give us variety to choose from. While 'Finding Fanny' comes like a breath of fresh air to those who are tired of the over dramatic dose of Bollywood, 'Creature 3D' is all set to give us some intense action as we see in the trailer. Both these films are scheduled for release on the 12th of September. So let's take a look at what these films have in store for us.
Finding Fanny- The very trailer of this film gives us the feeling that finally Bollywood has dared to be different. Though the film has romantic elements, it's not hard core filmy romance, though the film has a humour element, it's not meaningless slapstick comedy like we've seen in the past few releases. We think that this film will appeal to the audience that complains about all the films getting the same treatment. Starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia, 'Finding Fanny' is one film to watch out for.
Creature 3D- Director Vikram Bhatt says that this film is set to raise the standards of Indian cinema as it uses new and advanced technology to match up to the quality of international creature films. This is something new in Bollywood and it's a good enough reason to acknowledge the efforts of the filmmakers by catching this film in theatres. Starring Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas Naqvi, this film will give boost to a new genre in Bollywood.
So comment below and tell us which of these films you plan to watch.
