Upcoming Releases- September 2014

September promises to be an entertaining month at the movies. While on one hand we have breezy romances like 'Daawat-E-Ishq', we have India's first creature film, 'Creature 3D'. We also have the much awaited biopic on the celebrated pugilist Mary Kom, and, Deepika's first English language film, 'Finding Fanny', amongst others. Read on to find out, which other movies are releasing in this upcoming month.


Mary Kom- 5th September


Everyone wants to know the story behind India's first female boxing medallist. Priyanks Chopra essays the role of Mary Kom- the woman who dared to change the rules of the game. This movie already has a lot of buzz, and will surely be a hit at the box office!





Sin City 2- 5th September


Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is a 2014 American crime thriller film and follow-up to the 2005 film Sin City. Co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, the script is written by Miller, and is primarily based on the second book in the Sin City series by Miller.





Finding Fanny- 12th September


This is an intriguing movie, in the sense that actors like Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor will be speaking in English. It also boasts of powerhouse actors like Pankaj Kapur, and Nasseruddin Shah.





Creature 3D- 12th September


India's first creature film, will surely be a treat for all sci-fi/horror movie buffs. The combination of Bipasha Basu and Vikram Bhatt has never failed to impress us (read-scare us), and this time is going to be no different.





Daawat-E-Ishq- 19th September


Yash Raj Films rarely goes wrong with romance. Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor's foodie romance will make you blush!





Khoobsurat- 19th September


This movie might be a remake of the 1980 hit of the same name, but it looks like a Mills and Boons novel adapted to a movie. Sonam Kapoor plays the lead in this film, alongwith Pakistani sensation Fawad Khan.





Ugly- 19th September


Anurag Kashyap's much delayed film starring Ronit Roy and Rahul Bhatt, will have a niche audience. But it is sure to make the critics rave over it!





The Maze Runner- 19th September


The Maze Runner is an upcoming 2014 American science fiction actionthriller film directed by Wes Ball from a script by Noah Oppenheim based onJames Dashner's 2009 book of the same name. The film stars Dylan O'Brien,Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Will Poulter. It is set to be released on September 19, 2014, in the United States by 20th Century Fox.





3 AM- 26th September


3 AM is a horror movie starring Rannvijay Singh, Salil Acharya, and Kavin Dave. A small-budget film, but it is sure to find takers amongst lovers of the horror genre!
