February didn't fail to impress the movie lovers and March too has impressed us with a string of movies lined up in the entire month for our weekly dose of entertainment. Starting from the first till the last, we movie watchers are surely going to be busy at the cinemas with some really different stories.
Interesting? Isn't it?
Movies with women being the core of the story has been attractive to filmmakers recently and this women's day, it's going to be two unique stories based on women - Gulaab Gang and Queen. The former marks the first time pairing of Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, Kangana returns to play a woman-oriented role once again in the latter. Gulaab Gang is based on a true story about women fighting against injustice prevalent in Bundelkhand, UP and MP. Whereas, Queen is based on the story of a conservative girl, who grows up as an individual and rediscovers her identity during her honeymoon alone!
Two very different stories with one common subject - WOMEN! Which among these women will stand tall at the box office? Let's find out at a cinema near you!
Drifting apart from being completely women centric, comes the fun and quirky Total Siyapaa directed by E.Nivas starring Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam. The film tells the story of a Pakistani boy's plight while visiting his Indian girlfirend's parents leading to some funny and chaotic situations.
After Bollywood completes its serious concerns about women, March 14 brings a rom-com, Bewakoofiyaan, directed by Nupur Asthana starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. This film tells the story of a passionately in love couple who believes their love can survive the odds while Rishi Kapoor (the doting father) thinks and wants exactly the opposite!
Will love win over the father's pride?
Post the rom-com, Ekta Kapoor is back with Ragini MMS 2 starring the International/Desi sexy bombshell Sunny Leone. Picking up from where its prequel ended. This time the MMS is being made into a film. The film crew goes to shoot the film in the same house where the scandal took place leading to further paranormal activities.
Will the film tick the right boxes?
Politics has always been one of the favourites of our Bollywood directors and this time round, its none other than director Syed Ahmed Afzal's Youngistan. The film stars Jackky Bhagnani, Neha Sharma, the late Farooq Sheikh and Boman Irani. The film tells the story of how a young man is thrust forcibly in the big, bad world of Indian politics.
Will this politics cum love story work its magic at the cinemas?
Last but not the least, Harman Baweja makes a comeback to the big screen along macho man Sunny Deol in this action thriller, which is incidentally, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's first film as a producer. This is the only out and out action movie in March and the trailer does look promising.
Will Dhishkiyaoon set the cash registers ringing?
