Where do we even begin with this?
After watching the trailer, one wonders if the people making the movie even consider the fact that viewers have functioning brains. Or perhaps they desire to annihilate viewers' brains altogether. It's easier to make them part with their money after watching this travesty, we suppose.
We're not going to bother trying to extract any hint of a story, there clearly is none. How projects like this get the green light is beyond us. Humshakals is clearly a big budget film, it's a pity that so much money and effort went to waste while making this.
Let us rephrase that, though. It's not a waste if the money comes back, is it? Which unfortunately, it will. The average movie-goer does not seem to want to spend his or her movie watching time with well scripted, thought-provoking and soul satisfying movies.
All we can say is, the actors do a wonderful job playing caricatures of themselves with no inkling of embarrassment. Perhaps a fat paycheck has something to do with it.
