Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films are known for their grandeur and colorful sets. An alumnus of FTII, he started his career as an assistant to Vidhu Vinod Chopra on films like 'Parinda', '1942: A Love Story'. The two had a fall-out when Bhansali refused to direct 'Kareeb' and went on to make his directorial debut with 'Khamoshi: The Musical'. His next was the love triangle 'Hum Dil Chuke Sanam' starring Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. The film was a huge hit and struck a chord with the audience. From there on, Bhansali delivered several hits- 'Devdas', 'Black', 'Guzaarish', 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. He even produced films like 'Rowdy Rathore', 'Mary Kom' and 'Gabbar Is Back'. His upcoming flick is 'Bajirao Mastani' which is touted to be a love story of a warrior.
