A Cannes showcase for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 'Jazbaa'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 'Jazbaa' is one of the most awaited films. It marks the comeback of the former beauty queen on the big screen, which has already gone on floors.


Now, it has been revealed that the film will be showcased at the Cannes Film Festival 2015. The director, Sanjay Gupta took to the microblogging site, Twitter to announce this news. He posted, "Today I'll be editing with the very talented Bunty Nagi the JAZBAA showcase for Cannes 2015. Very excited about this one. :-)))"

'Jazbaa' is touted to be a female-centric film. Aishwarya is said to be essaying the role of a lawyer whereas, Irrfan plays a suspended cop. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi and Siddhant Kapoor. It will hit the big screens on 9th October.


Apart from that, Aishwarya Rai will also be making a red carpet appearance at Cannes, this year.
