Mallika Sherawat, who played an item girl turned politician in 'Dirty Politics', will be seen next, in Sandeep Singh's 'Ishq Uncensored'. The musical thriller will have her, essaying the role of an aspiring actress who desperately wants to be famous and ends falling in love with Sharman Joshi, who plays an idealistic theatre director.
The film will hit the shooting floors in June. It consists of four love stories bringing together four unlikely couples and never-before-seen jodis on screen.

While, Mallika and Sharman's love story will be Mumbai based, graphic designer Amit Sadh will woo an NRI NGO worker, Patralekha in Delhi. Kalki Koechlin and Gulshan Devaiah will play singers, who bond through a rock band, in Kolkata. The fourth story, which will be based in Varanasi, will have newcomer Ieshaan Sehgaal playing a tourist guide.
The director Sandeep informs, "Each is an independent story linked at the beginning and the end." Writer- director Anuraadha Tewari, who is working on this project, admits that the quirky stories are based on real life incidents and, will showcase a different side to the cities she has lived and worked in. She further says, " You' ll see Bandra Mumbai, culturati Delhi, South Kolkata and my home town Varanasi. Each city is a character in itself and will reflect my views."
