A.R. Murugadoss made a smashing directorial debut with Aamir Khan starrer 'Ghajini' which was a huge blockbuster hit. His next was Akshay Kumar's 'Holiday' which again performed well at the box office.
Now reports suggest that the director will be teaming up with Salman Khan post wrapping the Sonakshi Sinha's 'Akira'. We hear that the film will be produced by Salman's brother-in-law and former actor Atul Agnihotri. A Deccan Chronicle report quoted him as saying, "I cannot discuss it right now, but yes, we are in talks. Nothing will happen before December. I can talk about the film only after December.” The film will tentatively hit the shooting floors by the end of 2016.
Salman is currently busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Sultan'. On the other hand Murugadoss is working on 'Akira' which is an official remake of the Tamil sleeper hit 'Mounaguru'. Sonakshi will be seen performing some high octane action sequences. The film also stars Amit Sadh.
