It seems like Bollywood stars are actively taking part in social causes, featuring in short films is one of them. Recently Alia Bhatt starred in a short film aimed at women's safety and now we see Madhuri Dixit featuring in a short film against domestic violence.
Madhuri is seen at the end of the video delivering a powerful statement that supports this cause. This short film titled 'Start with the Boys' is directed by Vinil Mathew and features the many times in life that boys are taught not to cry. The end of the video has a very clever way of showcasing the subject and getting the message across.
Alia Bhatt starred in a video titled 'Going Home', which is directed by Vikas Bahl. The actress also happens to be a part of the director's next 'Shaandar'. She will be seen starring opposite Shahid Kapoor in this film.
It is clear that Bollywood is doing its best to promote women empowerment, not only through short films but also films like Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Mary Kom' and Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardaani' which salute women and aim and changing people's mindsets.
