After various speculations about Akshay Kumar replacing Arshad Warsi in the sequel of Subhash Kapoor's award winning film 'Jolly LLB', the 'khiladi' actor has finally confirmed that he is doing the film.
Reportedly 'Jolly LLB 2' which is said to be India's first judiciary franchise, will revolve around yet another high profile case and Akshay will be seen as a Kanpur-based lawyer.
In an interview to Rajeev Masand Akky said, "Jolly LLB 2 is a nice script and I quite liked it. I really liked the directors' (Subhash Kapoor) work and I have never played a lawyer's role ever. It is something that I am going to enjoy."
The movie will be shot in Lucknow, Kashmir, and Varanasi and will be hitting the big screens in the first half of 2017. Further rumours suggest that Huma Qureshi plays the leading lady though the makers are yet to make an official announcement.
