Akshay Kumar's 'Gabbar Is Back' has ended the dry spell at the box office. The film has been well received by the masses. Akky's grungy look coupled with powerful dialogues and a relevant subject has struck a chord with them.
The film is the highest opening grosser of this year. It collected Rs 13.05 crores on Friday, Rs 11.35 crores on Saturday, Rs 15 crores on Sunday and Rs 6.75 crores on Monday. The total box office collection is Rs 46.16 crores.
'Gabbar Is Back' is the story of a man, who has set out to fight a fierce battle against corruption. Directed by Krish and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Suman Talwar and Sunil Grover. There is also a guest appearance by Kareena Kapoor Khan.
