Akshay Oberoi is now beginning his shoot for his next, Jar Entertainment and Mukesh Chabra's 'Gurgaon'. He will be seen in film after Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor', a special appearance with Deepika Padukone in 'Piku' and Indo- Brit film 'Bombairiya'.
He plays a local Haryanvi boy living in Gurgaon and will be seen in an entirely new avatar. His character has a very rustic look and feel to it so he's been asked to learn the local language by director Shanker Raman, who incidentally is a National Award winning cinematographer. Akshay has been training to learn Haryanvi language/diction by a local Haryanvi tutor. He's also watching a few Haryanvi movies to get the accent and nuances right. In fact, he breaks into Haryanvi at times while talking to his friends and family to practice the language perfectly.
Akshay is in Gurgaon right now to commence the shoot.
