‘Bangistan’ Trailer Review: Promises to Be A Laughter Riot

Duniya ke kone mein ek aisi jagah hai jahaan kabhi bhi goli chal sakti hai…kahin bhi bomb fatt sakta hai!

And that place is Bangistan!

The trailer promises to be a laughter riot along with loads of sarcasm and spoofs! One look at the trailer and you know here is one movie that is going to be complete paisa vasool flick!

The movie is about two aspiring terrorists. While Terrorist no.1 is RIteish Deshmukh playing a Muslim man who disguises himself as a ‘Hindoo’; Terrorist No.2 is Pulkit Samrat, a Hindu who disguises himself as Muslim.

The trailer itself has many light-hearted and funny moments. Here are a few of them:

1. Muslim Terrorist Leader (speaking for Riteish): Daadhi dekho iski! Sabse lambi hai. Arya Babbar: *takes out a measuring tape* Abhi bataate hain daadhi kiski lambi hai!

2. The spoof on McDonalds- ‘FcDonalds- Killer Fast Food’ with a terrorist replacing the iconic McDonald statue.

3. ‘Keep Calm I Am Not A Terrorist’ T-Shirts.

4. ‘Stars*ucks Coffee’

The jokes are new and refreshing. The chemistry between Riteish and Pulkit looks great. And then, the cherry on the top is Jacqueline Fernandez who is looking sexy and glamorous!

Another point to be noted is that actor Kumud Mishra is seen playing a double role, as the Hindu Leader as well as Muslim Leader, which is going to be another funny part of the story; but for those who have seen ‘War Chhod Na Yaar’ starring Sharman Joshi and Jaaved Jaffery, Dalip Tahil is seen playing the same kind of role. Perhaps an idea lifted from the 2013 movie!

Directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the movie releases on 31st July.
