US President Barack Obama's visit to India on the 66th Republic Day function on January 26, 2015 was a grand affair. Not only did the who's a who of Politics made sure to visit Obama on his tour of India, but even the Bollywood biggies took time out to meet him.
Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan was one of the esteemed guests at the function. While we aren't sure about what actually happened at the party, we definitely know that Mr. President saddened our King Khan!
Before you guys cook up stories, let us reveal what made SRK sad.
Well it so happened, that SRK wanted Barack Obama to do Bhangra but his highness couldn't perform it and that in turn saddened Shah Rukh. However, the 'Chennai Express' actor wasn't disappointed and rather and sworn in to make Obama groove to his super hit chartbuster Chaiya Chaiya for sure.
Shah Rukh even tweeted about this on twitter. “Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra...next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure,†posted SRK.
Meanwhile, Obama too seemed to be impressed by our King Khan. While our PM Narendra Modi apologized to Obama for the rainy day he had to face yesterday, the latter responded to it in typical Bollywood style!
To everyone's surprise, Obama mouthed the iconic 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' dialogue, “Bade Bade Deshon Main… Aisi Choti Choti Baatein Hoti Rehti Haiâ€!
Well, we hope now this made SRK happy!
