Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back on the silver screen with Sanjay Gupta's 'Jazbaa' after a long hiatus and we hear that the actress has been receiving praises for her terrific comeback.
Ash already has two other films in her kitty- Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Omung Kumar's biopic on 'Sarabjit'. The latest we hear is that she has bagged yet another film! Yes, you heard it right, the 'Jazbaa' actress in an interview to DNA revealed that she has been approached for Sujoy Ghosh's 'Durga Rani Singh' which is reportedly said to be based on the true life story of a female cop.
She was quoted as saying, "I am doing three films- Karan Johar’s 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', the biopic on Sarabjit Singh directed by Omung Kumar and a film with Sujoy Ghosh. I think Sujoy’s films have gone to a later date. He had discussed two subjects with me- 'The Devotion Of Mr X' and 'Durga Rani Singh'.” She further added, "Sujoy has not told me that. I still have to meet him to discuss where that’s going. We haven’t had the time to meet once 'Jazbaa' rolled. It was announced in the media that 'The Devotion Of Mr X' was taking off and then announced that it was shelved but I really don’t know what’s happening... He has narrated both the subjects with me and now I have to figure out which one is there. But I know 'Durga Rani' is on for sure!”
Looks like something interesting is in store for us! What do you have to say guys?
