At the age where most actors prefer to get retired, Amitabh Bachchan with his mounting zeal is set out to make a new venture in the small screen with 'Yudh'. This fiction genre project seems to be pretty close to Mr. Bachchan's heart to the extent that he is actively providing inputs for its promotions and marketing strategies.
According to insiders, Bachchan is taking time out from his schedule to have closed door meetings with the core team of the show. He has also roped in Anurag Kashyap for these meetings. Since Big B wouldn't want to disrupt his shooting schedules, the meetings take place during lunch breaks. And if anything is pending, Bachchan waits back after shoot to discuss it.
With Anurag Kashyap being the creative director and Shootjit Sircar the series director, 'Yudh' consists of a stellar star cast of Amitabh, Kay Kay Menon and Nawazuddin Siddiqui! The series depicts the journey of Yudhisthir Skarwar and his struggle with his collapsing health, business rivals and complicated family equations and seems to be apparently inspired by American crime drama TV series Breaking Bad.
