Last night we saw the entire nation’s prayers getting answered as TV actor Gautam Gulati was declared as the winner of the eight season of Bigg Boss!
The Grand Finale, keeping in mind its importance, was a grand affair indeed. Let us look at the important things that happened in the last episode of ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’.
The top 5 contestants (Dimpy Ganguli, Karishma Tanna, Pritam Singh, Gautam Gulati and Ali Quli Mirza) were given a makeover for the finale by famous hair stylist Hakim Aalim. While Pritam looks suave and classy, Gautam re-defined hotness once again with the new hair cut. On the other hand as Ali had no hair to loose, hence face-tattoo was all he could get done with!
The five were shown tear-jerking clippings of their respective family members. And for the first time, we saw them all shedding tears together without any of them to be blamed for it!
Enter the stunning and hot Mallaika Arora Khan; and as we all know doing item numbers is her speciality! So how could she leave to make her presence felt in the Grand Finale of the most successful season of Bigg Boss?! Her sensuous dance movies with Dimpy and and Karishma on ‘Ang Lagaa De’ and sizzling chemistry with the boys Ali, Pritam and Gautam on ‘Yaar na Miley’ was peppy and sexy.
“Hud Hud Dabangg Dabangg Dabangg Dabangg…Dabangg!” And name the second person who comes to your mind, after Salman, every time you hear this song. Yes..SONAKSHI SINHA!
The Dabangg girl made a splashing entry and did solo dance on a spate of her hit songs. She entertained the contestants by showing them funny clippings of their stay in the house but gave them a shock by taking Dimpy along with her and thereby, eliminating Dimpy from the final run!
And then entered the “Ek Number Maanas” of Bigg Boss- Ajaz Khan! The man put an end to his ‘Tom n Jerry’ equation with Ali by taking him out of the house on his shoulders. And there ended the journey of the self-proclaimed entertainer of the house- Ali Quli Mirza.
Bigg Boss house was full of action. And when it comes to action, how can one forget director Rohit Shetty! The man with a golden touch entered the house with three of his ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ contestants to promote his upcoming reality show and made Gautam, Pritam and Karishma perform small stunts.
And then came the sudden moment of realization that the house we have got used to since the past 4 and half months, will not be seen again. Be it the kitchen and garden area where most of the fights took place, or the bedroom area where politicians of the house formulated their next steps, or Gautam’s favourite corner area where he cried alone will not be seen again! The remaining three contestants switched off the lights of the entire house thereby ending their stay at the Bigg Boss home.
But outside waited the questions of their haters. And any guesses who came to ask them those questions? Well, who else than the man who has been given the rights by the entire nation to question them- Rajat Sharma! The housemates dodged Rajat’s questions and tried coming clean but somehow, failed to give the right answer. On the other hand, Karishma still seemed in a mood to pick up fight with Gautam even outside the house!
And then, the last task to be performed by the three. A task which was probably not liked by Pritam’s wife at all. The three were asked to choose between being in the race and getting away with 25 Lakhs. And Pritam, undoubtedly took the right decision and gave way for Karishma and Gautam to enter the top 2.
And finally, the moment arrived when Farah Khan, without much drama and suspense, revealed the much-obvious winner for the season Gautam Gulati.
Gautam not only emerged as the most successful and popular contestant of Bigg Boss but also won with a whopping 86% of votes (a record). The man, despite various hurdles and abuses inside the Bigg Boss house, managed to stay strong and be natural as well as entertaining. Wishing the young lad lots of success in future.
And yes, we did miss Salman Khan!
