Emraan Hashmi’s career has surely hit the rough patch. His latest outing ‘Raaz Reboot’ too is showing early signs of bombing at the box office- making it his ninth box-office failure in a row!
The Vikram Bhatt directorial, which marks the end of the ‘Raaz’ franchise, collected Rs. 6.30 Cr on Friday, Rs. 5.49 Cr on Saturday and Rs. 6.30 Cr on Sunday taking the total to Rs. 18.90 Cr.
But this downfall in the career graph shouldn’t really bother the ‘Serial Kisser’ who has been experimenting with his roles off-late. After all, the biggest example of failures and then rise is the man with whom his horror flick chose to clash at the box office last Friday- Amitabh Bachchan!
After lukewarm response to his previous two films this year, Big B is surely on cloud 9 since his Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang starrer has managed to become the surprise package of the year- both critically as well as at the box office.
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial debut ‘Pink’ went on to collect Rs. 4.32 Cr on Friday, Rs. 7.65 Cr on Saturday and Rs. 9.54 Cr on Sunday taking the total to Rs. 21.51 Cr.
Will the girls, along with their lawyer, continue to paint the city ‘Pink’ next week too, or will Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Banjo’ make the right kind of sound at the box office? Let’s wait and watch for another Friday to unfold….
