Karan Anshuman's debut film 'Bangistan' starring Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat and Jacqueline Fernandez has failed to impress the audience and fared poorly at the box office.
As per reports the film, which released across 700 screens, raked in Rs. 1.1 crore on its opening day. It grossed a weekend collection of Rs. 3.75 crores.
On the other hand Imran Abbas-Pernia Qureshi starrer 'Jaanisaar' directed by Muzaffar Ali was a complete-washout at the box office. The period love story set against the times of war received flak by the critics and audience alike.
'Drishyam' collected 2.75 cr on Friday, 4.05 cr on Saturday and 5.04 cr on Sunday and taking the total upto Rs. 58.12 cr.
Meanwhile Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' is giving a stiff competition to the Bollywood releases. The movie has been appreciated for the high octane action scenes.
