Tony D'souza's 'Azhar' starring Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri opened to mixed critic reviews yesterday. While Emraan's performance was applauded, some felt that the director chose to play safe by saying that his film is not a biopic and instead borrows some elements from Mohammad Azharuddin's life.
'Azhar' made an opening box office collection of Rs. 6.30 crores on Friday. The Saturday and Sunday box office collections would be quite crucial for the film to ensure a healthy weekend.
Meanwhile Tiger Shroff- Shraddha Kapoor's 'Baaghi' in its Week 2 collected Rs. 72. 42 crores and Sharman Joshi's '1920 London' grossed Rs. 12.45 crores till Thursday.
Talking about Hollywood films 'Captain America: Civil War' collected Rs. 44.74 crores in its second week whereas 'The Jungle Book' continues to perform brilliantly and has collected Rs. 177.56 crores (Week 6).
