Box-office report: Haider catches up on day 2

While Haider had a slow start on its opening day, it picked up by the second day. The Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer succeeded in pulling in audiences on account of positive word of mouth and has a total of 13.14 crores by the end of its second day at the box-office. While the film earned over 6.14 crores on the first day, it raked in 7 crores on the second day.


Critics seemed to love this film and praised it in their respective reviews. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, this film was meant to be Bollywood's adaptation of Shakespeare's famous literary work 'Hamlet'. The film also starred Tabu in a pivotal role. Shahid Kapoor's performance is this film has been lauded by critics and audience as well. This film is distributed under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures and is co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.


The film is expected to earn better over the weekend as it is working well at both single screens and multiplexes.
