If you thought that Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt would be a quirky pair then wait till you hear this piece of news! After the critically acclaimed 'Badlapur' Sriram Raghavan will be collaborating with script-writer-turned-author Sheeja Jose on a thriller based on the latter's best-selling book 'Gone With The Bullet'.
The novel was originally a film script which Sujoy Ghosh had planned to bring on screen. However things didn't work out then and Sheeja turned the script into a book. The story follows an 18 year old girl who falls in love with a 40-some-thing assassin.
When prodded about the casting, she told a leading daily, "I think Sriram will agree that Akshay Kumar would be perfect as the brooding dark assassin and Alia Bhatt as the new-age girl in love. It's a hatke romance against the backdrop of bullets."
