Sridevi impressed one and all with her comeback film 'English Vinglish' which was directed by Gauri Shinde. The latest buzz is that the actress is now all set to star in her hubby Boney Kapoor's next film.
The yet-to-be-titled project will be a women-centric film which will be produced by Boney. As per a Mumbai Mirror report a source was quoted saying, "The story had been written with Sridevi in mind. Boney loved it and immediately came on board.”
Earlier there were several reports doing rounds that Akshara Haasan who made her B-town debut with 'Shamitabh' will play Sridevi's daughter in the film. However later Boney Kapoor rubbished all those rumours and said, "Akshara is not in the film. Yes, it is a woman-centric drama, but not a remake of any film. It is not titled Mother."
The film will be helmed by debutante director Ravi Udyawar who has also written its script.
