Deepika Padukone is currently busy promoting Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' co-starring her ex beau Ranbir Kapoor. While the leggy lass hasn't revealed much about her other upcoming films we hear that Dippy has been approached by 'Badlapur' director Sriram Raghavan for his next which is said to be an adaptation of Vikas Swarup's popular novel 'The Accidental Apprentice'.
The actress confirmed this development to a leading daily and was quoted as saying, "I have been in talks with Sriram about that film. I have just been approached for it, but I haven’t signed it yet.”
Further Deepika revealed that she hasn't read the novel yet and further added, "Sriram is getting his script in place. He has not asked me to read the book. Once he finishes scripting, we will sit for a narration and then I will decide. As of now, I have been approached for a few films, but I haven’t signed anything yet."
Will the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress sign the dotted line? Only time will tell.
