Well, it seems law and luck is working in favour of Salman Khan. The Jodhpur court was going to deliver its verdict today in a 16 year old case related to possession and use of illegal arms by the actor.
However, going with the latest update, the hearing in Salman Khan's illegal arms case has been adjourned till March 3.
This decision may have with regards to a request put in by Salman’s attorney asking for Khan’s absence during the trial as he is busy shooting for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
If found guilty, Salman may be sentenced to jail for five to seven years. However, he may appeal for bail following the verdict.
Four cases were filed against actor Salman Khan in the Jodhpur court in 1998. Out of the four cases, three were related to poaching of black buck and one case was filed under Arms Act. Police had seized one pistol and one rifle from the actor's hotel room when he was in Jodhpur, shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.
