A Hindustan Times report quoted a source saying, "It’s true that Akshay and Omung had discussed the project at length, but he isn’t able to give the dates that Omung needs.Akshay is currently shooting for his next film, which is a sequel to Jolly LLB (2013). Later, he will also be working on film-maker Neeraj Pandey’s next two ventures — Crack, which Neeraj will be directing, and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which he will be producing. “So, in 2017, Akshay’s schedule is packed for almost the entire year."
When the leading daily contacted Akshay he confirmed the development and said, "I am not doing Five. I had dates issues."
We further hear that now Omung plans to go ahead with a new cast.
