While Sanjay Leela Bhansali is quite discreet about his next 'Padmavati' one hears that the film-maker has already created the queen's Water Palace from the Chittotgarh fort at Mehboob Studios.
If reports are to be believed then the film is set to roll with a song sequence in the Rajasthani dance style, ghoomar, for which leading lady, Deepika Padukone, is set to start prep.
A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source close to the development saying, "Folk dancers from Rajasthan will be flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her. The set at Mehboob studio, where the song will be shot, is almost ready."
Reportedly Deepika plays Rani Padmavati whose legendary beauty wowed Alauddin Khilji, who spurred by his obsessive love for the queen, attacked the kingdom of Mewar. While the men, including Rani Padmavati's husband, Raja Ratan Singh, and his soldiers vowed to fight to the last man, the women, following their rani, jumped into a pyre and committed jauhar. Speculations are rifle that the film also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
