Diljit Dosanjh made an impressive Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor's 'Udta Punjab'. Next he signed 'Phillauri' and was supposed to be a part of Milan Luthria's 'Baadshaho'. However the actor later opted out of the latter film with Emraan Hashmi replacing him.
In an interview to a leading entertainment portal the actor finally opened up about why couldn't do the film. Diljit said, "It was a good project and I have loved director Milan Luthria's films. I have seen Kacche Dhaage and The Dirty Picture too. But when they offered the role (for Baadshaho), I felt that I couldn't do it. I wouldn't have been able to do the introductory scene of my character."
He further added, "But I am sure the film will be a good one. Emraan Hashmi will do justice to the role. I have no regrets of not doing it because I know I will not be able to do it."
Directed by Milan Luthria 'Baadshaho' also stars Ajay Devgn, Esha Gupta, Ileana D'Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal.
