EXCLUSIVE!!! "I Am Not Skeptical About Releasing Films On Non – Festive Days- Salman Khan"

EXCLUSIVE!!!

Salman Khan is well known for having a penchant of releasing his films on Eid, Christmas or Diwali, the festive seasons. His films 'Wanted', 'Bodyguard', 'Kick' released on Eid, while his debut film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' released on Christmas and his film with Sooraj Barjatya 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' releases around Diwali. He explains this phenomenon by saying, “Festive season is the time when schools, colleges, offices have leaves. It's vacation time for the masses and they go to the movies with families. These movies are big and hence need to be released at a time when everyone can enjoy them.”

When asked if he is skeptical on releasing movies in non festive season Salman states, “I am not skeptical about anything in life. Especially movies. My films 'Karan Arjun' released before Ramzan and 'Biwi No. 1' released during the Cricket World Cup. I am not skeptical about releasing films on non festive days at all, as many of my previous films which were hits, were released during non festivities.”

Well we are keeping our fingers crossed for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'! Festival or not, BB will most probably be this year's biggest blockbuster.
