A story that ‘Udaan’ director Vikramaditya Motwane had been sowing since five years has finally got its wings!
Three years back, the director had casted Imran Khan to play the lead in his much-ambitious flick ‘Bhavesh Joshi’. Soon, Khan walked out and the inability of finding a proper lead for the film along with the ruling party in India changing, thereby making the script irrelevant, ended getting it the status of a ‘Shelved Film’.
Next we heard about Sidharth Malhotra finally acting as the ray of hope for the makers, but he too walked out due to date issues; only to help the newbie in B-town Harshvardhan Kapoor get the role as Gujarati vigilante who takes it up on himself to fight corruption!
And as the shoot for the film kick-starts today, the ‘Mirzya’ actor took to Instagram to share a happy picture of his director whose wait has finally come to an end:
The movie also stars Radhika Apte in the lead opposite Kapoor.
