Homi Adajania's 'Finding Fanny' which released on the 12th of September, has been doing moderately well at the box office. The film collected Rs.17 crores approx over the weekend. The film, which was meant for the urban audience did well at multiplexes and won the attention of Bollywood celebs. Considering the fact that this film has adapted a slightly different genre than that of what Bollywood is used to, it has been well appreciated by critics and audiences alike.
Finding Fanny earned a decent 5.1 crores on its opening day and has been doing consistently well. The star cast of the film includes Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur. 'Finding Fanny' has received better box-office returns compared to Bipasha Basu starrer 'Creature 3D', which also released on the 12th of September. If this film continues to get increasing numbers at the box office, it is expected that Bollywood filmmakers will consider making more films belonging to a similar genre.
