After much controversies like usage of the word 'Virgin' in one of the dialogues and the problem with the title which almost prevented the movie's release, Finding Fanny finally released in theatres as per schedule and earned about Rs.20 crore over the first weekend.
The moment called for a party and so a success party was organized. Deepika Padukone walked in on time even though she had been busy attending the music launch of her upcoming 'Happy New Year'. Also spotted were Ranveer Singh with whom she is allegedly in a relationship and Arjun Kapoor, her co-star in the movie.
Other B-town celebs who were present were director Homi Adajania, actors Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur along with ex-wife Supriya Pathak, Hrithik Roshan, Ileana D'Cruz and Anaita Shroff.
The movie which has been directed by Homi Adajania and stars veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia and youth favourites like Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is an English satirical comedy which revolves around the adventures of five dysfunctional characters based in Goa.
