Here's some good news! Anil Kapoor is teaming up with Lionsgate for the Hindi version of 'Red'. The original flick starred Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban and Mary-Louise Parker.
It revolved around a former black-ops agent, portrayed by Willis, whose peaceful life is threatened by a high-tech assassin and reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive and uncover his assailants.
The 'jhakaas' actor took to his Twitter handle to share this piece of news-
The film will be directed by 'Delhi Belly' director Abhinay Deo. The Hindi-language remake of Red will be the first film jointly produced by Lionsgate and AKFC Network, and the studio’s second film in India after 'Brothers', a remake of Warrior. AKFC Network and Lionsgate are finalizing the cast for the Red remake, which is set to start production in August.
Actress Sonam Kapoor too is quite excited about her 'papa's new project. She too took to Twitter and posted, "My dad's current obsession! #RED @AnilKapoor First look Out now!! ! What a cool poster!"
